The Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids is pleased to announce Tiffany Marrinan as the new assistant superintendent of Catholic schools, effective January 1, 2026. In this role, she will oversee curriculum, instruction, professional development, and school accreditation for the 31 Catholic schools across West Michigan.
“I am thrilled to welcome Tiffany as our new assistant superintendent. Her knowledge of curriculum and instruction will directly support the growth of our teachers and the academic success of our students,” said Sarah Grey, superintendent of Catholic schools. “Tiffany’s commitment to faith-filled leadership and her dedication to strengthening Catholic school communities make her an exceptional addition to our diocesan team.”
A respected educator and expert teacher, she brings 25 years of experience in Catholic education to the role, having previously served as principal, assistant principal, department head, and teacher at Catholic Central High School within that time period. Tiffany is currently an English teacher and instructional coach at Catholic Central High School. “When we invest in the growth of our teachers, we’re ultimately investing in our children. I’m honored to expand my service to Catholic schools across the diocese, working to empower educators, support school leaders, and advance the mission of Catholic education with both purpose and heart,” said Marrinan.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in curriculum and teaching, both from Michigan State University. She also has a master’s in educational leadership through the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame.
