All Saints Academy is seeking an energetic, faith-filled toddler lead teacher for our Toddler Room (18 months-2.5 years) for the 2025-26 school year. The primary role is to instruct and guide students in developmentally appropriate activities while using the Michigan Early Childhood Standards of Quality as guidelines. This year round position is full time (Monday-Friday 6:30-2:30 or 7:30-3:30) and requires working on non-school days including snow days. The hourly compensation will commensurate with experience and educational qualifications. ASA tuition discounts are included in the compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and interacting with toddlers
- Create and implement age appropriate lesson plans
- Implement classroom and school procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of school policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all students and staff members
- Promote the academic, spiritual, and emotional well-being of all students
- Remain current on educational trainings and qualifications
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
- Work with a team of educators.
Application Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirements: Associates Degree or CDA in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a classroom setting
- First Aid and Adult/Child CPR certification (willingness to obtain if not already certified)
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Commitment to fostering our Catholic faith with the children
- Pass a background and criminal history check
- Virtus-Trained or willing to be trained
- Complete the required State of Michigan licensing requirements prior to the start of employment.
- Must adhere to all federal, state, local, diocesan, and school policies
