Catholic Central is seeking a dynamic and faith-driven Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach to lead and grow a competitive, Christ-centered program for student-athletes in grades 9–12. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the lacrosse program, from sub-varsity through varsity  levels, in alignment with our mission of preparing servant leaders for a Christ-centered life.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Provide spiritual and athletic leadership aligned with Catholic Central’s values 
• Promote a culture of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic excellence
• Lead practices, games, and off-season development programs 
• Mentor and supervise assistant and sub-varsity coaches 
• Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and the broader community 
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director on scheduling, eligibility, and compliance (MHSAA, OK Conference, and school policies) 
• Communicate regularly with parents, faculty, and administration 
• Support admissions, development, and school advancement efforts 
• Organize preseason meetings, maintain records, and enforce program standards 

Qualifications  

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)  

• Prior coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level (preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and player development 
• Proven leadership and communication skills 
• Commitment to Catholic education and student-athlete development 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
