Jubilee 2025 – Hispanic Community Pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Saint Andrew

Schedule:

1:00 p.m. – Procession begins from Shrine of St. Francis Xavier & Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish
1:45 p.m. – Stop at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish
2:40 p.m. – Arrive at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew
3:00 p.m. – Mass with Bishop Walkowiak at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew
4:30 p.m. – Reception following Mass in Catholic Central High School‘s gym

Diocesan events for the Jubilee Year

The Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope, proclaimed by Pope Francis is meant to be a time focused on forgiveness of sin, conversion and joyful celebration. During this coming holy year, we invite your participation in the following diocesan events. May the Holy Spirit sustain and invigorate our lives so we can be pilgrims of hope for one another! 

Pilgrimages: “Pilgrimage is of course a fundamental element of every jubilee event. Setting out on a journey is traditionally associated with our human quest for meaning in life. In the coming year, pilgrims of hope will surely travel the ancient and more modern routes in order to experience the Jubilee to the full.”

Although some days seek to draw together certain groups of pilgrims under a theme, all are invited to each event.

April 6, 2025 – Hispanic Community
June 22, 2025 – Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy
June 29, 2025 – Families: Youth, Parents & Grandparents
Sept. 28, 2025 – Vietnamese Community
Nov. 2, 2025 –Young Adult and College/University Students
Dec. 28, 2025 – Conclusion of the Jubilee Year

1:00 p.m. – Comienza la procesión desde el Santuario de San Francisco Javier y la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe
1:45 p.m. – Parada en la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores
2:40 p.m. – Llegada a la Catedral de San Andrés
3:00 p.m. – Misa con el Obispo Walkowiak en la Catedral de San Andrés
4:30 p.m. – Recepción después de la Misa en el gymnasio de Catholic Central

Eventos diocesanos para el Año Jubilar

El Año Jubilar 2025: Peregrinos de esperanza, proclamado por el Papa Francisco, está destinado a ser un tiempo centrado en el perdón del pecado, la conversión y la celebración gozosa. Durante este próximo año santo, invitamos a su participación en los siguientes eventos diocesanos. ¡Que el Espíritu Santo sostenga y vigorice nuestras vidas para que podamos ser peregrinos de esperanza los unos para los otros!

Futuras peregrinaciones:

Aunque algunos días buscan reunir a ciertos grupos de peregrinos bajo un tema, todos están invitados a cada evento.
