Our observance of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5. While this is not a holy day of obligation, we invite you to join us in our churches this Ash Wednesday for Mass or Liturgy of the Word with Distribution of Ashes. This is a beautiful way to begin this season of prayer, fasting and almsgiving! Additionally, please make note that Ash Wednesday is an obligated day of fasting and abstinence. Below you will find a list of Mass and Liturgy of the Word times from churches across our diocese for Ash Wednesday, March 5.
