During the West Michigan chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s (WMPRSA) 39th Annual PRoof Awards on Thursday, June 5, the Diocese of Grand Rapids was recognized with two gold awards and one silver award for excellence in public relations during 2024.
WMPRSA’s PRoof Awards recognize practitioners who successfully use skill, creativity and resourcefulness in addressing communication challenges and highlight the “best of the best” public relations campaigns, tactics, and professionals in West Michigan.
Annalise Laumeyer, director of communications (L), and Annie Willison, diocesan social media manager, hold up the diocese’s PRoof awards.
The work of the diocesan communications team was recognized with awards in the following areas:
- A gold award for the Fueling Up with Father video series (Long-form video category)
- For FAITH Grand Rapids magazine (in the Magazine category)
- For the diocesan Annual Report (in the Annual Reports category)
